It’s Okay

The "It's Okay" collection" was created to let people know that its okay to feel exactly how we feel when we feel it. None of us are perfected and it's okay to make mistakes. We may look and sound different, come from different backgrounds, and most definitely live different lives. But it's important to remember that we are also very much the same. Once we start to look past the surface we are able to see our similarities.

These characters are meant to inspire people to find compassion and understanding for one another. All characters are of my own design and the medium used was ballpoint pen, gel pen, and color pencils on 2 ply tag board. I also think it's worth mentioning that I created them while in prison serving a federal sentence of 11 years and 7 months. Since then I have made many positive changes and continue to live a much healthier life. Today I'm happy. I stand by these characters 100% and believe in the special powers they posses. In my heart I feel we all have an obligation to help each other find happiness and love. What about you?
